It was established according to the decision of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources No. 598 of 1976 issued on 2/7/1976.

Company strategy

1. Developing and modernizing furnaces and converting them from the open type to the semi-closed type, and converting pole clutches to operate hydraulically instead of the mechanical type, using the latest technology used in the West, State of the Art , where the second furnace was developed with this technology on March 20, 2010.
2. Developing and modernizing the main power station to operate with digital control and protection cells, and changing the oil-type circuit breakers to the SF6 gas type.
3. Developing the automatic control system for production processes and linking them to the company’s integrated information system.
4. Research and development support.
5. Production of other ferrous alloys such as ferrosilicon magnesium and ferrosilicon calcium.
